Nancy Guthrie
Nancy Guthrie är bibelläraren som inspirerar sina åhörare, såväl i hemförsamlingen i Tennessee (USA) som vid konferenser och bibeldagar för kvinnor i hemlandet och internationellt. Hon leder podcasten Help Me Teach the Bible för The Gospel Coalition och har författat ett flertal böcker såsom Ännu bättre än Eden: Låt Bibelns berättelse förvandla din livsberättelse. Nancy och hennes man, David, brinner för att hjälpa och stödja par som har förlorat ett barn, och erbjuder stöd och biblisk vägledning genom Respite Retreats.
Undervisningen kommer vara på engelska, men det kommer finnas tolkning till svenska för den som behöver.

Fredag
- 18.30 – 21.00 – Nancy delar sitt vittnesbörd med fokus på lidande och erfarenheten av att förlora barn. Samlingen avslutas med gemenskap, fika och bön. Under kvällen har vi även bokrelease för Elisabeth Elliots bok Är mitt lidande meningslöst?
Lördag
- 08:15 – 09:00 – Registrering och fika (OBS! Ny starttid)
- 09:00 – 10:50 – Upptäck Bibelns stora berättelse
- 10:50 – 11:30 – Fika
- 11:30 – 13:00 – Följ Bibelns återkommande teman

Tolkning till svenska finns för den som behöver när Nancy undervisar.

Rotad really looks forward to welcoming you to a women’s weekend on October 11-12 with Nancy Guthrie.
On Friday evening Nancy will share her life story and experience of losing children.
During three gatherings on Saturday, she will review the basic narrative and structure of the Bible, pointing to the common thread that runs from Genesis to Revelation. And how this can help us read and understand the Bible. Nancy’s goal with these days is to help women see how wonderful Jesus Christ is and how He can give us everything we need. Her wish is that people will have an even greater love for Jesus and be filled with a longing for his return. We will actively listen and work together with different texts and themes in the Bible.
Nancy Guthrie is the Bible teacher who inspires her listeners, both in her home congregation in Tennessee (USA) and at conferences and Bible days for women in her home country and internationally. She hosts the Help Me Teach the Bible podcast for The Gospel Coalition and has authored several books such as Even Better Than Eden: Let the Bible Story Transform Your Life Story. Nancy and her husband, David, are passionate about helping and supporting couples who have lost a child, offering support and biblical guidance through Respite Retreats.
The teaching will be in English, but there will be interpretation into Swedish for those who need it.

- 18.30 – 21.00 – Nancy will share her testimony especially about suffering in connection with the book release of Elisabeth Elliot’s book about suffering in Swedish. The meeting ends with coffee/tea and a moment of fellowship and prayer.
Saturday
- 08:15 – 09:00 – Registration and coffee
- 09:00 – 10:50 – Telling the Bible’s Big Story
- 10:50 – 11:30 – Coffee
- 11:30 – 13:00 – Tracing the Bible’s main themes
- 13:00 – 14:30 – Lunch
- 14:30– 16:00 – Making the Bible’s intended connections
Interpretation into Swedish is available for those who need it when Nancy teaches.

Children: We wish that in order to best focus, you can plan so that the children have stays at home, everything except breastfeeding or babies.
